Apply online, fill all the required information, upload the requested documents, print the visa form and send the file for validation.
You will be scheduled for file submission and visa interview starting from 1st of July.
Personal presence at the embassy is compulsory.
Beside the required documents, please present the study papers in original + copies.
Originals have to be apostilled (India) or legalized by MoFA (Bangladesh, Nepal).
Do not submit medical certificates. They are not required for visa but for enrolment at the university.
For all the candidates:
1/ Proof of financial resources:
Fresh bank statement for a current/savings account open on applicant name, with equivalent of minimum 4000 US dollar (4000$ = 6 month minimum brut salary). The bank statement has to be signed and stamped by the bank.
2/ Travel insurances:
You can use any insurance company which offers online verification of the policy on their website.
Minimum value of the insurance is 50.000 US dollar / 30.000 EURO.
The policy has to be valid for the entire period of visa (6 month), starting from the date of departure.
3/ Proof of knowledge of the study language:
Even if you have chosen to study in Romanian language, you will have a visa interview in English.
4/ Proof of accommodation:
Please provide a declaration from the receiving university for accommodation availability, or accommodation renting contract registered with ANAF. Booking.com (or similar services) reservations are not acceptable.
For India candidates:
5/ Proof of knowledge of the study language:
MOI certificates are valid only if all the studies have been conducted in English.

For Bangladesh candidates:
6/ Proof of financial resources:
To reduce the time needed for documents verification we suggest you request your bank to send a scan of the signed and stamped bank statement to newdelhi.cons@mae.ro. Email subject should be "bank statement for SEnnnnnnn". The email has to be sent from the bank email address/domain, not google mail, yahoo, etc.
Proof of knowledge of the study language:
*MOI certificates are not acceptable.
আমাদের বাংলাদেশী শিক্ষার্থীদের এইবার মিডিয়াম অব ইন্সট্রাকশন একসেপ্ট করবে না রোমানিয়ার এম্বাসি।*Duolingo or any other online self-assessment tests are not accepted.
ডুয়োলিংগো বা অনলাইন থেকে কোনো এসেসমেন্ট এক্সাম এর রেজাল্ট বা স্কোর এম্বাসি গ্রহন করবে না।*Certificates from training centers are not accepted.
কোনো ট্রেনিং বা কোচিং সেন্টার এর সার্টিফিকেট এলাও করবেনা।*In case of doubt regarding the acceptable tests, contact the receiving university and
